Chris graduated from Queen's University last fall with an honours degree in English Literature and recently returned from a year abroad teaching English in Japan. Next year Chris is enrolled at the University of Edinburgh's School of Business in Scotland where he will be pursuing a masters degree in business management. Chris is excited as always to be working with the Junior Boys and is looking forward to getting to know the Senior Girls section this summer. |

Inter & Senior Boys
Dan is celebrating his fourteenth summer at Arowhon. He's from Toronto and graduated with a degree in International Development Studies and Journalism degree from Dalhousie University and King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Reed is currently living and working in Belize as a property and land developer. In the past Reed was a student journalist and worked on several publication projects, and hosted a weekly radio show. At Arowhon, Dan was first a camper for seven years before excelling as a counsellor in Senior Boys. In 2006 Dan stood out as our Head of Landsports, before moving on to become an outstanding Inter and then Senior Boys Section Head. We're excited that Dan will be returning to lead our Inter and Senior Boy Sections this summer. |

Junior & Inter Girls
From Toronto, Camp Arowhon has been a part of Mara's life since the day she was born. The daughter of directors Joanne and Leon, Mara spent her toddler and preschool years at camp before attending Arowhon as a camper for ten summers. This summer will be Mara's 6th year on staff, having been a counselor, Inter Girl Section and Head of Riding in 2006 and 2007. Last summer Mara was Inter Girls section head, and we know that she will bring her experience, warm personality and devotion to her sections this summer. Mara is a student at University of Toronto studying Environmental Policy. She has also taught at a primary school in a refugee camp in Ghana. She has worked at the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario, and enjoys rock climbing, tobogganing, and looking for shooting stars. We are thrilled to see Mara's compassion, energy and passion in the Junior and Inter Girls Sections this summer. |
